THis is what happens when you have a weekly card group, you are a book artist. and it’s holiday gift-giving time. Fortunately, I had some decks that were missing cards or just very well-used.
My piece, "Chrysalides" (a triptych), was accepted into this exhibit alongside a poem by Kitty Baker, written in response to the art.
Wire, paper, thread, jute, and acrylic paint make up these weird, wired people that sprung from my imagination over the past few months.
The show, Call & Response, was held August 2023.
